I propose there be created another branch of government, which hires scientists and statisticians, and which holds a forum, online and publicly, where people can vote directly, and which will serve as a form of direct democracy that hasn’t been seen since Greece.

Once he’s turned this thing into a crypto-currency, people might actually be able to introduce their own legislation, with lobbying power built in. I want the government to recognize Egora and provide resources to get scientific professionals, statisticians, every bit of information we need in making a decision on one of these ideas.

Costs to the government involve creating a website, site maintenance. Paying scholars, temp hires. The introduction of authored bills, that receive a vote of 2/3 in the forum. Forum is nationwide, but statewide examples could prove effective.

Voting is on a sliding scale from 0-100%, with the ability to pick out the second decimal place. Getting the right exact, desired position, is a tool used to harness the effect, called The Wisdom of Crowds. In statistics, a large number of people can achieve an accurate guess through their average. This will provide a good litmus for perspectives across the country and serve the purpose of information, primarily, a sort of mouthpiece or pulpit for the public: vox populi.

Like Egora, it should be accessible for PEOPLE to introduce their ideas for legislation, not politicians. They will work with us, however, by introducing a bill penned from the forum, up to four times per year. Any idea receiving 2/3 gets introduced to the House. If the bill gets voted down, the forum can veto with a vote of 85%.
