Municipal Transit-
1. Municipal public transit should be free to the commuters, funded by taxpayer dollars. This would reduce congestion in cities; it would reduce energy consumption of our societies; and it would bring people closer together as a society and community. By being publicly funded it would provide encouragement to commuters to use public transit, thereby normalizing its use.

2. Our cities must be more conducive to bicycle and small vehicle transportation, with safe and convenient "bicycle lanes". People will always depend on larger personal motorized vehicles––whether out of preference for comfort or necessity of heavier transportation––but greater utilization of bicycle and small vehicles will perfectly integrate with the goals and values expressed in point 1, above.
