Relevance:     United States of America
The President of the United States should be elected by a majority of the nationwide popular vote, and not via the current "Electoral College" system. This can be either achieved via a constitutional amendment or via state laws awarding Electoral College delegates of said state to the winner of the nationwide popular vote, not the statewide popular vote.
