My main areas of focus are public education and healthcare.
I believe in universal healthcare, paid by taxes through governments. Everyone should pay his/her fair share of taxes; whether he/she makes $20,000 or $20 million. Premiums should be on a sliding scale according to income. The United States is way behind industrial countries in providing affordable, high quality healthcare.
I am interested in re-inventing public education. Public education failed my son and now I see it failing my grandsons. I would eliminate all Superintendents, School Boards, etc. I would start over with teachers, principals, secretaries, janitors and bus drivers. We need a complete overhaul of public education.
