Gun violence reduction through distributed accountability.

In order to purchase a gun, the prospective buyer must assemble three voluntary sponsors who support their purchase. These voluntary sponsors will sign a contract of shared accountability with the gun owner in the event the gun is used in an illegal act of violence. The contract will provide for rescission clauses which allow any sponsor to revoke their sponsorship at any time, and upon doing so immediately generates a warrant for the gun to be seized by law enforcement. There is no guarantee of full removal of the rescinding sponsor's accountability until the gun is dispossessed from the owner.
